May 25th, 2011--a 15-year-old girl from a county about an hour west of Seattle is in custody after she allegedly shot her dad with a bow and arrow. The report says that she shot him after he grounded her and took away her cellphone--taking away a teenage girl's cell phone is basically the equivalent of standing between a momma bear and her cubs.

According to Mason County Sheriff’s Det. William Adam, the girl lived alone with her 35-year-old father. “He was doing some parental discipline. She was doing something he didn’t approve it,” Sheriff Adam said. Adam said the dad was shot with a compound bow, using an arrow with multiple razor-sharp blades. He said the girl had her own bow and was a deer hunter.
