So, not sure what's in the water, but the foul ball dads strike again. This time, the wanna-be do-gooder caught the ball, but in the process landed on and took out a couple kids. The son was pretty distraught about the whole thing even after the dad gave him the round, stitched ball he had just found. It's not easy being a dad. You think to yourself, "I am bringing this glove to the stadium in case I have to defend my family from just such an occurence." Then, what actually happens is that you become the weapon of mass destruction as you hurl yourself in the direction of all incoming projectiles. It's a tough gig being a dad. What is it about a foul ball that makes men just lose track of their surroundings? I know I have done it. But, this guy takes it to a new level. He's a normal guy, holding his daughter--watching a ball game and then there's the crack of the bat! In a split second he sees the ball is coming his way, and like many of us would do when a baseball is flying at you at over 70MPH, you ready yourself for certain impact and possible glory--but wait, where did that daughter thingy go? For a brief instant tunnel vision set in and not only did this guy drop the ball that was coming towards him, but he also dropped the kid. Sigh. It's awfully tough being a dad, but don't worry, the kid was just fine. What would you have done? Is there the slightest chance you would have done the same thing? Check out the video.
