I am Baba (Cantonese for father), and Daddy. Both girls say Dada or Dadee for the moment. The B's don't come as easily. Not real worried, but if they say Auntie before Baba (Auntie is our nanny) I'll be miffed!

This group needs to be revived! I've noticed many of our gay friends are in the process of adopting children now. There are more and more non-traditional families on the horizion. My son is now 3 years old. We still see his mom regularly and he calls her "mommy". At this point, he thinks he is the luckiest kid in the world to have two daddies and a mommy while all the kids in his preschool have one mommy and one daddy. I tell him all families are different, some have one daddy and one mommy, some have two daddies, or two mommies, it does not matter how many mommies or daddies you have in a family, what's most important is how much you are loved by your family, and we love you so much!

Just found this site, I am divoced gay dad and suprised at the lack of sites for guys like me. Stuff on divorced dads and gay dads, but not a lot on divorced AND gay dads. Been divorced for 4 years and it hasn't been pretty.

Hey queers, I posted a blog on ANOTHER site today about how "we" deal with the curious questions about where our kids "come from". Please check it out and if you've experienced the same frustration, please let me know how y'all have decided to deal with it! Thanks, F

Nothing to be afraid of here. I look worse that I am. At least I filled out in my older years. When I graduated high school I was 6'5 and only 180 (skinny pole).

Only time will tell with my daughter.

Boys are OK as long as I am larger then them (which as previously stated is not hard)

Freddy, Utica is about 45 min - hour west of Albany on I90. So it's further from NYC than Albany is, sort of a "shuffle off to Buffalo".
