Unassisted Triple Play by Cisco
Description
My son, Cisco, had an unassisted triple play last weekend during his Alamo Heights Little League game. Cisco was playing 1st base and there were runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs in the inning. Batter pops a ball, in the air, towards 1st base. The runners on 1st and 2nd take off running. Cisco catches the ball, tags 1st base and then runs and tags 2nd base. That was it! Inning was over and we got to bat again and won the game. Later on, we found out that it was an extremely rare thing. Our local TV station featured him as the "play of the week" in sports and our newspaper ran a small story. It was a really fun thing for him to experience.
